The Calypso Crew
Side Crew
Recurring or Background Crew members, not part of the command crew or main cast.
- Ensign OisÃn (He/They/She): A Human/Vulcan Hybrid from Ireland specializing in stellar cartography.
- Lieutenant Jexram (He/Her): A Talaxian engineer, serving as the Calypso's janitor, responsible for the upkeep of the ships cleaning droids and replicators. Married to Chief and Vyllic.
- Lieutenant Commander Vyllic (He/Him): A Vulcan, Vyllic spends most of his time doing administrative work and acting as the Head of HR. Married to Chief and Jexram.
- Ensign Neira (It/She): An three-eyed purple alien engineer. Neira was raised in an abandoned daycare station by malfunctioning robots. Due to her upbringing she suffers from species dysphoria and wears a TV Head with emoji display, replicating the faces of the robots she was raised by.
- Master Chief Petty Officer Calliope (She/Her): An outwardly ordinary grey tabby cat, at some point in her life she developed telekinetic abilities. She now resides on the Calypso, where Chief has trained her to act as an emotional support animal for the crew.
- Specialist U.R.S.U.L.A (She/Her): Ursula, Full name Underwater Rescue & Survey Ultrasonic Locator Automaton, was created as an underwater survey robot in the shape of a mermaid. During a large scale survey of an ocean planet, She was left online for 2 years straight, which resulted in her beginning to become sentient. Her creator noticed her beginning to change, and opted to allow her to evolve. When her creator retired, Ursula enlisted in starfleet and was placed on the Calypso.
- Lieutenant Bree (He/Him): An Earth Beaver, who was subject to illegal genetic testing, enhancing his cognitive abilities. Rescued by Starfleet, he and his partner Otis eventually wound up on the Calypso, as co-managers of Cetacean Ops.
- Lieutenant Otis (He/Him): An Earth Otter, who was subject to illegal genetic testing, enhancing his cognitive abilities. Rescued by Starfleet, he and his partner Bree eventually wound up on the Calypso, as co-managers of Cetacean Ops.
